Watch – From the elementary classroom to the Future wellbeing – SPIRIT skills set

After reading the chapter “The ten SPIRIT skills”,  please watch the video presentation about From the elementary classroom to the Future wellbeing – Bridging soft skills and neuroscience.

This video presentation was recorded in the first International Community of Practice – an online knowledge and experience-sharing TeacMeet. The thought-provoking presentation at the event was given by Professor Grazia Serantoni, and 35 educators from 8 countries discussed with her and among themselves about the 10 SPIRIT skills and how these can be developed for children aged 6–10. The presentation focused on the following three questions, which concern the relationship between brain science and the development of transversal skills:

  1. Why are these competences trainable?
  2. When is the brain most ready?
  3. How do we activate the right brain circuits?
