Difficulty level tailoring notes


  • Beginners: Provide a set of pictures/situations that represent emotions to help with identification. Allow building first, then storytelling.
  • Advanced learners: Invite children to explore emotional intensity (e.g., how would a “very angry” tower differ from a “slightly annoyed” one?). Let them build more abstract representations
  • Experts: use more subtle and sophisticated emotions (e.g. jealousy). Think together about situations where multiple towers can coexist.
