The activity is easily adaptable to students’ abilities:
- Basic participation: The student observes, uses a template for drawing, chooses answers from picture options. Speaks minimally but can participate through pair work or quiet presentation.
- Intermediate participation: Actively takes part in building and testing, explains the process in their own words. Adds simple explanations to observations and draws independently.
- Advanced participation: Experiments with variations, suggests alternative materials, analyses results from multiple angles. Asks deeper questions, explores multiple working methods.
- Teachers may use these levels for formative or self-assessment, e.g., with coloured sticker systems or visual self-evaluation sheets.
