Anna Antoniou Nicolaidou is an experienced Mathematics educator with an academic background that combines mathematics with educational leadership. She studied Mathematics at the University of the Aegean and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Nottingham, where her postgraduate research examines the possibilities of distributed leadership within the Cypriot school context. Her professional experience spans formal education, private tuition, preparatory apprenticeship programmes and post-secondary vocational education, giving her substantial experience teaching mathematics across different educational settings and stages of learning.

Alongside her professional teaching experience, Anna has long-standing experience working with younger children through catechism primary school and Greek Orthodox catechism programmes. Through these settings, she has supported children’s development, planned age-appropriate activities and fostered a welcoming, respectful learning environment. Her involvement in catechism primary school has strengthened her ability to engage younger learners, respond to their individual needs and encourage participation through interactive and supportive teaching.
