Maria Constantinou is an experienced educator with a long-standing involvement in the education and guidance of primary-school children. Alongside her work in education, she serves as a supervising teacher in a Greek Orthodox catechism school for children from the first to the sixth grade. Her role brings together teaching, coordination and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment in which children can engage with their faith and with one another.

Through catechism, she supports an approach to religious education that connects knowledge of the Greek Orthodox faith with the values children encounter in everyday life. Learning from the lives and teachings of the Saints provides opportunities to explore virtues, attitudes and practical life skills, while encouraging kindness, responsibility, respect and care for others. Central to this approach is also a sense of community, helping children experience faith not only as a subject of learning, but as something expressed through relationships, participation and shared values.
